Tesco has Christmas all wrapped up with personalised e-gift cards from major third-party brands available online, whether it’s a stocking filler for the kids or a significant present for a loved one further afield. Customers can choose from many brands and multistore cards with One4all, Apple, Google, ASOS, and H&M to name a few.

Tesco is already one of the leading sellers of gift cards in the UK through its network of stores, and usually sees demand from customers peak on the 23rd and 24th of December each year. The new website (www.tescogiftcards.com) makes it even easier to purchase a gift card this year and   customers can even purchase and send personalised e-Gift Cards on Christmas Day, to help manage any last-minute gift panic.  

The innovative digital gifting solution, managed by Tesco Bank, allows customers to purchase e-gift cards, personalise them with a message and select a digital unwrapping option to give meaningful gifting experiences at a time when many customers are opting to shop online. With 98.6% of gift cards being spent within the first year of being gifted, they provide the recipient with a great level of choice, minimising the risk of buying an unwanted gift and the need to return or exchange at a time when many are unable to get to the shops.  

Lots of people are feeling the pinch this year and with e-gift cards available from £5 customers can choose from more than 15 brands, spanning multiple categories including fashion, music, gaming, dining out and entertainment. When purchased the e-gift card is delivered to the recipient in an instant with a personalised message via email or SMS. This service helps to create those little moments between family, friends and colleagues who are unable to spend time together.
