Tesco Bank ATM donations reach over £37,000 for the NSPCC

Tesco Bank is delighted to announce over £37,000 has been donated to the NSPCC by shoppers using its network of ATMs at Tesco stores. The announcement comes as Tesco Bank celebrates the five-year anniversary of its partnership with the charity.
Tesco Bank has enabled customers using ATMs located at Tesco stores across the country to donate to the NSPCC while conducting everyday transactions such as cash withdrawal and account enquiries. [Tesco Bank operates 4,000 ATMs across the UK, the third largest network in the country].
These donations have helped the NSPCC’s Childline service answer over 9,300 contacts, including one to one chats, phone calls and emails from children in need of help and support.
Despite a reduction in ATM usage as a result of Covid-19, donations to the NSPCC via Tesco Bank’s ATMs have increased by 45% during these challenging times when compared to the same period last year. That increase in donations means that Tesco Bank customers are helping the NSPCC support an average of 40 more contacts a month in 2020.

As well as supporting three local charities, Tesco Bank is proud to utilise its ATM network to support a number of national causes including the NSPCC, The British Heart Foundation and the Disasters Emergency Committee.
